Sudhanshu Mehta, former Vibrant Gujarat Manager and the founder of Josler Energy Private Limited, is a distinguished professional with a remarkable career that spans public service, business leadership, and community involvement.
Sudhanshu began his journey with 22 years of dedicated service in the Gujarat Government's Revenue and Industries departments, where he held various positions within the Government of Gujarat and the Government of India. His tenure included spearheading the Vibrant Gujarat initiative from its inception, representing the Government of India in business development initiatives across 30 countries, and playing a pivotal role in fostering international trade and investment.
In 2009, Sudhanshu founded Josler Energy Private Limited, which has since made significant strides in the oil exploration and energy sectors. Under his leadership, the company has been at the forefront of advancements in gas leak detection and exploration block evaluations for the Government of India’s New Exploration Licensing Policy (NELP). Over the years, Josler Energy has emerged as a key player in petroleum exploration and production, with a recent focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions to enhance public safety and protect the environment. To date, the company has surveyed over 15,000 kilometers of underground pipelines across India, significantly reducing methane emissions and preventing gas leaks.

In addition to his corporate achievements, Sudhanshu is an active member of the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI), serving as an elected executive committee member and treasurer. He also chaired the "Gujarat - Global Positioning and Coordination for Indian Economy’s 5 Trillion Dollar Target Committee," contributing to India’s economic growth. His leadership extends to the Oil and Gas Committee of ASSOCHAM Gujarat and the executive committee of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
Sudhanshu's dedication to community service is evident through his work with the Sudhanshu Mehta Foundation (SMF), a charitable trust he founded in Ahmedabad. The foundation focuses on community projects in Varanasi, including Jal Shav Vahini (Dead Body Mortuary), Water Ambulance, and environmentally friendly E-boats, with the primary goal of preserving the Ganga River.
